Where Shield is available
Shield is provided by Epiqueera Private Limited, an Indian company. It is not offered to subscribers in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, and we do not accept purchases with a billing address in those territories.
Indian law requires us to keep certain subscriber records for five years. We cannot reconcile that with the data protection rules that apply in those countries, so we do not sell there rather than make a promise we would have to break.
This concerns where the service is bought, not where it is used. Our exit locations in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Stockholm, Madrid, Milan, Warsaw, Vienna, Zurich, Dublin, Lisbon and Oslo are unaffected.
